How to Correctly Display your Christmas Tree Branches The images shown are of our actual trees. Despite being tightly wrapped, all trees must be assembled correctly to get the desired effect. If your tree is split into two halves and stands 5ft – 7ft tall, build the foundation first. Then, lower the branches until the electrical connection can be seen commencing at the highest point of the bottom section. Attach the electrical cables to the top and bottom parts of your tree once the connection is complete. You won’t need to do this if your tree is 2ft – 4ft tall, because these trees come in one piece. Fold the first layer of branches just above horizontal form, working your way up from the base of the tree; this should give the branches a narrow “V” shape. Once you reach the top layer of your tree, repeat these steps for the remaining tiers. It can be helpful to elevate the branches at the back of the tree at an angle greater than the front of the tree on each level if you notice gaps in your view of the tree, which can occur when you look at it from different perspectives (such as when you are seated or standing up). Work your way down the tree, starting at the top, to disassemble it.
